Pacific Arts Fono
Creative New Zealand's Pasifika Artists Fono Vaka Pasifika: An Exploration into Heritage Arts is open to all Pacific artists.
The programme includes a rare chance to view pieces from the Auckland War Memorial Museum Pacific Collection not currently on display with Ethnology Curator, Fulimalo Pereira there to answer questions. Renown actor and director Nathaniel Lees will chair a pannel of guests including Bill Urale (musician), Mary Ama (weaver), Maree Webster (playwright), Karlo Mila (poet), and Filipe Tohi (lalava artist and sculptor) addressing Heritage Arts today.
