Arts Alive is a fund for professional arts projects that will take place in professional performance venues in the Auckland CBD such as The Edge, Q Theatre, the Basement and the Maidment. The main objectives of the fund are to support and develop the professional performing arts in Auckland, and to develop and build audiences.

The Asia New Zealand Foundation administers a cultural grants programme and assists artist residencies and exchanges. Through Museums Aotearoa, they also offer the Asia New Zealand Foundation Museums Award which provides incentive support to museums and museum professionals for project and professional development.

The Big Idea's focus is “helping New Zealand practitioners, organisations and businesses in the creative sector to find the resources crucial for their long-term viability”. Their weekly e-bulletin features jobs, funding opportunities, interviews and news about arts events across New Zealand.

The Arts Foundation is also developing a crowdfunding website called Boosted, which is due for release in March 2013.
Indiegogo is an overseas worldwide crowdfunding website based in the USA. They can make international payments to New Zealand artists via paypal.
There are many other overseas crowdfunding websites but most don't yet accept projects from other countries. eg. Kickstarter, or snoball. If you know of any websites that do accept projects from New Zealand please email us.

Pacific Development and Conservation Trust which distributes grants to groups and individuals in the South Pacific for a range of development and conservation projects.

Government funding for First World War Centenary commemorative activities is available via the Lottery Grants Board. More than $17 million has been allocated to help communities commemorate the centenary: a fund of $7.291 million for community events and smaller capital works, and a $10 million fund for one or more large-scale projects of national significance. This is the only government assistance specifically targeted at First World War Centenary (WW100) commemorations.
Funding rounds close on 29 May and 20 November 2013.
The Funding Information Service has two subscriber databases for funding searches.

The New Zealand Book Council represents and promotes New Zealand writing and writers. Each year NZCT give around 2500 grants totalling between $40 and $45 million. Whilst the bulk of their grants go to sport, NZCT also provides funds for charitable purposes such as rescue and life-saving services, education, health, the arts, cultural and community groups.
NZCT funding goes back into the communities from which it was raised. NZCT has set up a number of Regional Advisory Committees around the country. These groups of reputable local people help with advice about recipients of funding in their area.
