    Quick Response Grants are our most common form of funding. They are awarded in three rounds per year and available to all artforms. As our smallest and most numerous opportunity Quick Response Grants are a great place to start if you are new to Creative New Zealand Funding. More information

    Arts Grant

    Arts Grants are awarded in two rounds per year and are available to all artforms. They offer more funding than Quick Response Grants, but take longer for us to assess. More information

    First World War Centenary (WW100) Co-commissioning Fund

    Christchurch Earthquake Recovery Grant

    As Christchurch rebuilds we are supporting artists and arts organisations to undertake projects that will help to invigorate the redevelopment of the city. More information

    Sector Development Incentives Fund

    This fund encourages and supports sector-wide development by incentivising organisations to work together. Organisations and individuals funded through the Toi Tōtara Haemata programme and the Toi Uru Kahikatea programme can submit proposals to this fund. More information

    Moana Community Grants

    The Moana Community Grants are available to support and develop Pacific heritage arts in small regional towns and communities outside of Auckland and Wellington.

    Heritage arts include the artistic expressions and forms that reflect a particular cultural tradition practiced by a Pacific Island group or nation. More information

    Creative New Zealand and the National University of Samoa Artist in Residence 2015

    Kava New Leaders grants

    Kava New Leaders grants support established practitioners of Pacific heritage arts to pass on their knowledge and skills to potential new leaders in their artform.

    Fulbright-Creative New Zealand Pacific Writers’ Residency

    This residency provides an opportunity for a New Zealand writer (in any genre) of pacific heritage to work on a project exploring Pacific identity, culture or history. The residency is three months long and based at the Centre for Pacific Islands Studies at the University of Hawaii. More information
