Activities Funded

Arts Grants help New Zealand artists, arts practitioners and arts organisations to create and distribute their work nationally and internationally. They can also support professional and skills development as well as arts projects in your community.

In the past we've supported theatre groups to tour, writers to be published, workshops for dancers and much, much more.

Eligibility criteria

The people involved in the proposed project must have:

• recognition from peers or experts
• a track record of success
• specialised training or practical experience

There are also general eligibility criteria and additional criteria to consider. There may also be specific eligibility criteria that apply to activities in your artform.

Applying

You will need to complete an application form which includes a proposal and budget template.

If you have never applied before, you should first contact an Arts Adviser. Every round we recieve more applications than we can fund. To increase the likelihood we’ll fund your application it needs to be as strong as possible.
