EARTHQUAKE Recovery GRANTs

As Christchurch rebuilds we are supporting artists and arts organisations to undertake projects that will help to invigorate the redevelopment of the city.

Our aim is to improve conditions for the artists and arts organisations while the city’s arts infrastructure recovers from the effects of the earthquakes. We also aim to support artists and arts organisations to remain in, return to, or be newly attracted to Christchurch.

To be successful applications will need to show that the project will help to maintain or grow the arts and/or the arts infrastructure of Christchurch.

The term arts infrastructure refers to all that is needed to create, present and distribute the arts. It includes artists, arts organisations, arts activities, facilities (including temporary or transitional structures) and arts networks.

They are in addition to our other grants and investment programmes.

You must discuss your application with an Arts Adviser to ensure it meets the objectives of the programme. There is no application form for you to complete with this grant. The Arts Adviser will complete the application form on your behalf.
