
The theme for Creative New Zealand’s sixth national arts conference is Arts by, with, and for Young People. International and national speakers will share inspiring and practical experience using case studies, displays and audiovisuals of great work for, by and with young people.

You will also be able to network with your arts colleagues and with leaders in other sectors, including the educational sector, who have an interest in the challenges and opportunities in the arts by, with or for young people.

We will be publishing a programme shortly. However, here are some important times to help you book your travel.
Monday 24 June: coffee and registration from 8am with the conference beginning at 9am. The day will end with drinks and networking at 5pm and performances from 6pm-7pm
Tuesday 25 June: coffee and networking from 8am with the conference beginning at 9am. The day will end at 4pm.
Attendance is by invitation only.
Price: $220 + GST (early bird) and $275 (after May 17).
You will need to register online and either pay by credit card or choose to be invoiced.
There is a three delegate limit for each organisation. If more people want to attend please note their names during your registration. They will be put on a waiting list until mid-June, when they will be notified if space is available.

You can organise accommodation at the Rendezvous Grand Hotel in central Auckland when you register online. The $195 a night fee includes accommodation and transport to and from the conference on both days.
If you are unfamiliar with Auckland we are offering a Pick-a-Path dinner for the evening of Monday 24 June. By clicking on the name of a restaurant you will see a menu. Once you’ve made your choice, simply click on ‘pick me’ to send an email to the organiser with your chosen path. More information on how to meet up with others travelling the same path as you on Monday evening will be provided at the conference.
