Optimise is a 21st Century Audience Development Programme enabling arts organisations to take advantage of the power of online marketing to attract new audiences and increase returns.

The objectives of Optimise:

  • Increase the New Zealand arts sector's understanding and use of best practice in all key areas of online marketing.
  • Increase confidence amongst New Zealand arts organisations to use online marketing tools and channels.
  • Create local case studies and benchmarks that tangibly demonstrate results and return on investment.

2011-12 programme

In 2011/12, Optimise will consist of an integrated programme comprising three elements:

  1. Optimise Coaching Programme
  2. Optimise workshops and webinars
  3. Benchmarking study

Creative New Zealand will work once again with Vicki Allpress Hill (The Audience Connection) to deliver the Optimise programme for this year. Vicki is a respected online marketing consultant to the cultural sector of New Zealand and overseas.

Hear video interviews with the New Zealand Comedy Trust, Tautai Contemporary Pacific Arts Trust and Indian Ink Theatre Company who have participated in the Optimise programme. They report on the outcomes of their projects and share some advice based on what they have learned.
