Learning and development

We help individuals and arts organisations develop their skills and capability in organisational development and audience and market development. We also support internships and national touring to help develop New Zealand's arts infrastructure.

Resources for learning and development

To assist arts organisations and individual artists and practitioners to deliver their work in the best possible way, we provide resources including:

  • Webinars
  • Coaching
  • Videos

We keep fees to a minimum but do not offer travel subsidies for workshops.

Arts organisations can develop and grow their audiences by learning how to

  • take advantage of the power of digital tools and online marketing.

Strategy and governance

Arts organisations can acquire the skills to develop strategic plans, digital strategies and effective boards via

  • a series of workshops and strategic consultations
  • follow-up support and advice.

  • Pasifka and Māori arts management internships in partnership with Tautai Pacific Contemporary Arts Trust and Toi Maori.

  • National performing arts market delivered by Performing Arts Network of New Zealand (PANNZ)
  • National Touring Agency delivered by PANNZ
