Quick Response Grants Closing date: 1 Feb 2019
Helping New Zealand artists, arts practitioners and arts organisations to create and distribute their work. Decisions take five weeks and typically one in four or five applications get funded.
101 grants totalling $646,193 have been offered to support projects by New Zealand artists, practitioners and arts organisations in this funding round. 243 applications were received, with a total of $1,553,995 requested.
General arts fund: 57 projects totalling $357,527 were supported. $1,149,807 was requested by 183 applicants.
Māori arts funds: 25 projects totalling $171,402 were supported. $214,565 was requested by 31 applicants. This includes 3 Toi Tipu Toi Rea Emerging Māori Artist recipients and 1 Tohunga Tukunga recipient.
Pacific arts funds: 19 projects totalling $131,542 were supported. $189,622 was requested by 29 applicants. This includes 1 Moana Community Grant recipient.
