Helping New Zealand artists, arts practitioners and arts organisations to create and distribute their work. Decisions take five weeks and typically one in four or five applications get funded.
80 grants totalling $526,459.44 have been offered to support projects by New Zealand artists, practitioners and arts organisations in this funding round. 339 applications were received, with a total of $2,166,611 requested.
General arts fund: 57 projects totalling $367,966 were supported. $1,682,823 was requested by 269 applicants.
Māori arts funds: 16 projects totalling $108,094, were supported. $327,535 was requested by 48 applicants. This includes 4 Toi Tipu Toi Rea Emerging Māori Artist recipients.
Pacific arts funds: 7 projects totalling $50,400 were supported. $156,301 was requested by 22 applicants. This includes 2 Moana Community Grant recipients.
