This funding enables more sustainable careers, encourages innovation and the development of arts practice, and provides opportunities for diverse communities to access the arts.

More about the Arts Grant programme

Who got funded this round

82 grants totalling $3,643,590 have been offered to support projects by New Zealand artists and practitioners in this funding round, across the three funding pools (General, Māori and Pacific).

We increased the budget for this round by $1.2 million, drawing on the $5 million we were allocated in September from the Government’s COVID-19 Delta Relief Funding. This allowed us to support an additional 28 projects.
