Arts Grants 2022/23
Arts Grants is the most popular fund. Arts Grants are open to emerging and established artists, arts practitioners and arts organisations for a range of activities. You can apply even if you haven’t applied for or received funding from Creative New Zealand before.
Four Arts Grants funding rounds are offered in 2022/23.

Annual Arts Grants 2023/24
Annual Arts Grants are for established artists, arts practitioners and arts organisations with a strong track record of funding from Creative New Zealand. Established Festivals cannot because of the new dedicated festival funding opportunities. Eligible artists, arts practitioners and arts organisations can apply for up to $150,000.

Festival Grants 2023/24 - Round 1
Funding to support established festivals that celebrate the life experiences, stories, cultures and regional identities of New Zealanders, and that continue to be impacted by the effects of COVID-19 in 2023. This fund is for established festivals that meet specific eligibility criteria; the key criteria being that they must have presented at least one festival within the past five years. Festivals will be able to apply for up $150,000.
