Following the performance it was announced on behalf of the Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu, by Michael Pili Pang - Director of the Mayors Office of Culture and Arts, that the 6th February 2010 was officially 'Black Grace Day!' This proclamation was delivered to Neil and the company on stage.
While in Boston over the last week (12.03.10) Neil and some of the Black Grace dancers visited Perkins School for the Blind presenting a customized dance class. Read about in the Boston Herald. Next the troupe heads to Vancouver for the International Dance Festival.
