Creative New Zealand thanks all the arts and culture recipients of Queen’s Birthday Honours for their dedication to and support for the arts and culture in New Zealand.
“The arts enrich our lives and make our communities stronger, happier and more inclusive. All the people honoured have made a tremendous contribution to the cultural well-being of New Zealand,” said Creative New Zealand chief executive Stephen Wainwright.

We encourage you to take some time to complete a nomination form and send it to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
There is no closing date for nominations and honours are announced twice a year, at Queen’s Birthday and in the New Year. Nomination forms are accepted throughout the year, but the processing and consideration of nominations is likely to take at least six months prior to the announcement of an honours list.
