Te Waka Toi Awards

The Creative New Zealand Te Waka Toi Awards are the only national Ngā Toi Māori awards that celebrate all artforms, with seven awards recognising leadership, outstanding contribution and excellence in Ngā Toi Māori. The awards celebrate the lives and successes of Ngā Toi Māori practitioners and advocates, and serve as a springboard for emerging artists through three Te Waka Toi scholarships.
