The Arts Foundation recently recognised the generous support of another patron of the New Zealand at Venice campaign, Adrienne, Lady Stewart as the 2009 recipient of the Arts Foundation Award for Patronage. Every year an individual, couple or trust is honoured with the Arts Foundation Award for Patronage and gifted $20,000 by the Foundation to distribute to artists or arts projects of their choice. Like previous recipients, Adrienne, Lady Stewart has added another $20,000 enabling her to distribute $10,000 to each of her chosen recipients - Raewyn Hill, choreographer and artistic director; Holly Mathieson, conductor; Philip Norman, composer and The Art & Industry Biennial Trust.
