Auckland Regional Council - Call for applications for the Artist in Residence 2009
Wednesday, 26 November 2008
The Auckland Regional Council (ARC) is giving an artist the opportunity to live and work on a regional park through its Artist in Residence project.
Visual artists and other creators including writers, composers and choreographers are invited to apply.
- The residency would suit an artist who is self sufficient and open to working in the outdoors.
- The artist in residence will live and work on a regional park for up to 8 weeks. They can immerse themselves in another scene and soak up the sounds and scenarios of their natural surroundings.
- There is a choice of three residency sites, in locations near the forest, beach or wetlands. This accommodation is provided free and an artists fee is offered to contribute to the creative process.
