online funding guide

We have taken the online funding guide offline. We are working towards increased automation of our system to improve applicants’ experience in the future. Thank you to all our users for your feedback on the 2009 guide.
In the meantime, we have produced a few tools that you may wish to use in order to apply for funding in 2010. You can find these below.

How to apply for contestable funding

You can apply using the 2010 Contestable Funding Guide Ngā Pūtea which includes an application form. There are eight steps to work through when preparing an application. These are:

  • Checking that contestable funding is available for your project

Steps 1 to 5 involve checking that you and your proposed project are eligible for contestable funding, deciding what kind of grant to apply for, and deciding which Creative New Zealand funding body to apply to.

  • Completing and compiling your application

If you and your project are eligible and you want to apply, steps 6 to 8 will help you include the right information in the right format. You’ll need to submit the required number of hard copies of your application to our Wellington office by 5pm on the relevant closing date. This must include correct numbers of copies of:

  • an application form
  • a project proposal (with a budget)
  • relevant support material.

Late applications or applications without the correct number of copies will be ineligible.
