Lottery Community Facilities for cultural facilities.
Lottery Environment and Heritage for cultural heritage projects, including capital works; development of education centres in museums; exhibition materials to enhance the understanding of collections; costs of conservation of movable cultural property; marae and waka conservation projects; waihi tapu research projects; and publications.
Lottery Youth - for developing young people's awareness of cultural identity and skills development outside the school environment. Lottery Youth defines young people as those under 25.
Lottery General for one-off projects of regional and national significance and those outside the scope of other distribution committees. Arts and film projects other than capital works projects are not usually funded.

A Directory of Philanthropic Trusts in New Zealand: published by the New Zealand Council for Educational Research, this directory provides a comprehensive list of philanthropic trusts. Most public libraries will have a copy.
The Funding Information Service: At www.fis.org.nz you will find two subscriber databases. FundView is for community group funding. BreakOut provides information on scholarships and awards for individuals. These databases can be viewed at some citizens advice bureaus, public libraries, local authority offices and offices of the Department of Internal Affairs.
