The New Zealand Authors' Fund compensates New Zealand authors for the loss of income through holdings of their books in New Zealand libraries. Authors may register with the Fund if they are eligible to receive royalties for their books and if more than 50 copies are held in New Zealand libraries.
The guidelines to the Authors' fund explain in detail who can register, how to determine if your book qualifies, how to register, and so on.
Registrations for 2007 are closed. Please the contact the Authors' Fund Administrator at Creative New Zealand if you need further information and if you would like to receive a 2008 registration form.
